This Privacy Policy explains how Partyfiy Inc. (“Partyfiy,” “we”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our Service. We comply with the Personal Information Protection Act of British Columbia (PIPA) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), and role.
- Profile information: for vendors, business name, contact details, location, images, pricing, and availability.
- Booking & event information: event type, date, location, guest count, messages, and payment records.
- Usage data: device information, IP address, and interaction logs used for security and analytics.
2. How we use information

- To send service, account, and (with consent) marketing communications.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.
3. Sharing & disclosure
We share information as needed to operate the Service: between customers and vendors for bookings, with payment processors (e.g. Stripe), hosting and infrastructure providers, and analytics tools. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal requests, or protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.
4. Communication & contact protection
To protect privacy and platform integrity, contact details are shared only after a booking or quote relationship is established. In-app messaging is the primary channel so that personal contact information remains protected until appropriate.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Payment data is handled by certified processors and is not stored on our servers. No method of transmission is fully secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent for marketing. To exercise these rights, contact us. Vendors are responsible for any personal information they collect through their own services.
8. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not function without them.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us for removal.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. For vendor data-processing specifics, see our Data Processing Addendum.
